It can be welded using all standard welding methods. 1.4404 stainless steel coil has excellent pitting resistance, especially high temperature strength, and excellent intergranular corrosion resistance; due to its molybdenum content, the overall performance of 1.4404 stainless steel coil is better than 310 and 304 stainless steel. 1.4404 stainless steel coil has a wide range of uses under high temperature conditions, when the concentration of sulphuric acid is below 15% and above 85%.
