EN 1.4028 stainless steel plate is a martensitic stainless steel with relatively good processing properties and after heat treatment, i.e. tempering, EN 1.4028 stainless steel plate's corrosion resistance including polishing properties are well improved and it has very good strength and wear resistance, making it more suitable for fabrication and able to withstand high stresses. EN 1.4028 stainless steel plate has a nitrided surface hardness of 60/65 HRC and is mainly used in the manufacture of components with high hardness and wear resistance, such as hot oil pump shafts and hydraulic machine valves.
